Renewing Your CHAS Card

Overview

The Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) enables Singaporeans to receive subsidies for medical and dental care.

Renewal Process

• CHAS cards are valid for 2 years.
• Renewal is automatic if eligibility criteria continue to be met (based on income or participation in other assistance schemes).
• If renewal is needed, application can be made online at https://www.chas.sg/ or at Community Centres.
• Notifications sent to applicants before expiry with renewal instructions.

Eligibility

• Singapore Citizens
• Income ceiling or participation in specific schemes (MediShield Life, ComCare, etc.)

Benefits

• Subsidies at participating clinics for medical and dental care.
